Our Trick on the kids ~ Picking up Gamma at the airport! – Pt.2
After about 9mo.s, Gamma got to fly back to Oregon & Ricky & I surprised ourselves w/how we kept it a secret for over a whole week! Then when it came time to get her from PDX, Ricky told the kids we were going to pick up his boss…and had them looking for him coming through the terminal. Lo & behold, all the sudden they see their Gramma Janis walkin’ through that hallway toward them. Â Braylon gets emotional , & so does she…and I got teary-eyed too. Â 9 months is just a long time to away from a Gramma Janis. So we were ALL REALLY happy to see her again, today.
It was a pretty stinkin’ cool gig.
