Track Day at Wilsonville High

Bray & Angel had fun at the Track & Field Day event for families this spring. I think it’s important to try to plan activities when you can to get exercise together, as a family. So I’m gonna make that a personal goal.

Here’s a tiny snippet of Bray throwin the javelin (not too exciting) but he is ONE fast runner. And his lil sis can tear the hurdles UP – she’s quick too!

Girl Advice

I picked up Bray from 4th grade today and on the way home, he told me that he got some good advice from his friend, Bradley. Also a 4th grader. About girls.

Be yourself
Don’t be afraid
Joke around
Do whatever it takes
Study the girl

He says he feels less afraid now, cause Bradley gets all the girls. I asked “What do you mean, “gets”? and he replies, “you know, get them to like you. Like-like.”

We’re in trouble, Ricky Russ. Not just because he’s getting girl advice from his 4th grade friend…but well, it’s some pretty dang good advice. I’ll leave this one in your court.
