Peace Out! It’s Hookie Time!

We hopped in the truck with Large Marge and headed down to the Heart of Texas for the day with Jeremy, Jamie and lil’ Riley. We were going to visit the basement at The Alamo but lost track of time … at Six Flags!

We rode the rides, ate the food, saw the characters and watched Braylon and Riley’s emotions go up & down like all the roller coasters. Although Jamie & I couldn’t get Jeremy on a coaster we did convince him to ride the ferris wheel. We captured some good moments while we were there.

Riley Russ | Austin Texas

Braylon got to play around in the pool with Uncle Jeremy and his little cousin Riley today. It was really fun to see them interact and to watch Riley be so fearless when getting into the pool. I got the chance to take some photos of the fun time they had.

Safari, San Antonio & Smiles

We woke up Saturday and decided to pack up the Scion and head to San Antonio for a bagel.

Bagel? Yeah, we needed an excuse to get out and have some family time away from the huge metropolis of Hutto. After we got about half way to S.A. we saw a sign for a “Texas-style Wildlife Safari”. How could we pass that up, right? It was the kind of Safari where you drive your car through and hopefully not have your car sat on by an elephant! We had a blast feeding all types of wild animals through the car windows. 

After that we continued on our bagel mission. When we got to San Antonio, we went down to the Riverwalk and tried to go to the RainForest Cafe but there was a 2-1/2 hour wait so we just hit the gift shop instead. 

It was a fun day that didn’t end until 11:30 that night.

Dodge Water

Angel, Daphanie and Chelan were goofing around in the truck so I had to grab the camera. It was crazy to see how fast Angel’s emotions would change from happy to sad back to happy. Daphanie wasn’t have the best time as you will see. Fun times in Hutto.

Poppa Rick & Granny’s

We loaded up the Scion and headed to Tyler for the weekend.

We had a great time. Poppa Rick & Granny took the us all to a Science Discovery Center. Braylon got to climb around in a real ambulance. As he was getting out, he fell face first and luckily only scratched his nose. Good thing there was an Ambulance right there! 

We went to Bodacious BBQ and Braylon had “real bbq” smoked turkey for the first time and loved it. Then we went to Toys R’ Us and Angel got her first Trike. Now Angel can ride along with Braylon or at least try.

I took alot of photos and they can all be seen HERE. Alot of the photos are fuzzy/blurry because I’m still learning how to use my camera without having it on Auto. Enjoy.

Nova Jr.

Braylon loves my Nova but doesn’t like to ride in it because he says it is too loud. He asked me if he could stand by it like the guys on TV do. Pretty fun what kids pick up huh? (more…)
